Getting Started with CloviPDF¶

What This Tool Does¶

CloviPDF gives you a complete set of PDF tools — plus the ability to ask questions and pull data out of your documents with AI — all in one place, with nothing to install. Compress a file before emailing it, pull structured data out of an invoice, or ask a plain-English question about a contract. CloviPDF handles all of it, so you don't have to bounce between a handful of separate apps and subscriptions.

Quick Start¶

Create your account. Sign up for a free account on the CloviPDF home page. Already use another Clovi tool? Sign in with the same email — your access carries over.
Upload your PDF. Click the upload area or drag your file onto the page. Free accounts handle files up to 10 MB; paid plans go larger.
Choose your operation. Pick compress, split, merge, protect, watermark, convert, chat, or invoice extraction. Your result is ready in seconds — download it or copy the data out.

Core Features¶

Compress PDF¶

Shrink a PDF before emailing or uploading it. Pick from three quality levels — low, medium, or high — to balance file size against image clarity. Great for design exports, presentation decks, and scanned documents that are too big to attach.

Chat with Your PDF¶

Ask any question about a document and get a plain-English answer with page references. Upload a contract, report, manual, or textbook, then type questions like "What are the payment terms?" or "Does this mention a warranty period?" The AI answers from what's actually written and cites the exact page, so you can check it yourself.

Extract Invoice Data¶

Upload a PDF invoice and get back a clean, structured list of fields: vendor name, invoice number, date, line items, totals, and tax. Export as CSV or copy the data directly. It works on invoices in multiple languages, and it's built for anyone tired of re-typing invoice data by hand.

Split and Merge¶

Split a multi-page PDF into individual pages or set page ranges. Merge several PDFs into one document in the order you choose. Both let you drag to reorder before you confirm.

Protect, Watermark, and Convert¶

Add a password to lock a PDF before sharing it. Stamp a custom text watermark on draft documents before client approval. Convert a PDF to images (PNG or JPG), or turn a web page or HTML file into a PDF.

Plans¶

The Free plan covers everyday PDF work and small files. Paid plans raise your monthly operation limits and file size cap, add AI Chat and Invoice Extraction credits, support batch jobs, and — on the higher tiers — unlock API access.
